The first face-to-face meeting of the MEETS project has just ended!
Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 September all us partners met for the MEETS Brainstorming, a retreat in Pavia at the premises of Collegio Borromeo, to put our brains to work and define the musical activities that the Linköping Academic Orchestra, the Orquestra Filharmònica de la Universitat de València, the Tallinn University Symphony Orchestra and the Collegio Borromeo’s choir will implement during the upcoming months. This will serve as a pilot testing to see how students’ participation in university and college musical activities enhances the development of their transversal skills.
Moreover, partners will take the chance to test our Online validation tool and to record videos of rehearsals, activities, concerts, and more. All these materials will form part of the MEETS Method, a training platform and a manual that conductors and music ensembles managers will be able to use to promote their musical activities while preparing their students for life.
